Refinish wood WITHOUT sanding – my go to

Do you have a piece that needs a little help in the drawers but you don’t want to go through the hassle of sanding and retaining? Or maybe you want to freshen up the top of an old family heirloom? I’m here to tell you there IS a better way!

I hate it when I put so much time into refinishing a large piece I’m pretty rough shape just to realize I still need to do something with drawers. I am all about making my life easier. So when I came across this stuff I was over the moon.

BEFORE:

Would you believe I didn’t have to sand, paint or use drawer liners to cover up the damage here? Nope! All I had to do was simply wipe down with the world’s greatest gift to wood and quickly moved on with my life!

Isn’t that incredible? The product I used is called Restore A Finish. I purchased it here but you can also find it at Home Depot. Make sure to pick the color closest to the wood you are working with. I use golden oak for most of my drawers and mahogany for a lot of older, darker pieces. Including the buffet pictured above. I LOVE using this to bring back the life in legs that i plan to leave bare and for cabinet shelves!

Let me know in the comments below if you try this! Or have used in on any of your projects.

Also, I am not sponsored by Restore A finish, but I wish I was. If you purchase through Amazon, i will however get a small commission. 🙂
